Whether you want modern or traditional looking standard awnings, Coast and Country Curtains and Blinds have got your windows covered.
Traditional awnings can be used on pretty much any exterior window of the home and are particularly useful for protecting and shading windows exposed to full sun or a lack of privacy. Traditional awnings are a simple and affordable way to increase your home's energy efficiency and curb appeal.
Available in a wide variety of designer fabrics and colours to match and enhance your décor. Choose from traditional stripes or modern plains across a fiesta of colour. Lighter colours will further reflect the suns rays while letting light filter in and darker colours will reduce glare and provide optimum protection from the suns rays.
Automatic Awnings
Without doubt the most popular awnings covering Australian windows today. With the ability to span up to 4.75m wide (with a reduced drop) or 3m Drop (with reduced width) the Automatic Awning is a very functional, attractive and yet affordable option to add to any residential window.
Originally designed to ‘Automatically’ retract when facing directly into strong winds, “The Auto” as they are affectionately known are still a cornerstone of the Australian awning industry. These ‘common’ awnings still sell like hotcakes, year after year, after year.

Side Channel Awnings
The Side Channel is a cost effect traditional awning that can restrict the elements from getting in by having its sides held within two side channels.
A simple twist of the bottom rail allows your customers to pull the blind up and down. A simple twist back and the blind is locked in position.
Available in a number of colours and fabrics.
Wire Guide Awnings
The ultimate industrial look, cable or wire guide awnings are a great option for sun protection, air flow and durability, where side channels are not applicable. Featuring high tensile marine-grade stainless steel cables, this awning system is perfect for coastal applications. Our wire awnings are great as they can be used on windows in your home or on any outdoor or patio area.
Wire guide awnings have a fine cable that runs down both sides of the blind, keeping the bottom rail from moving around when it’s windy. It also has locking pins that are used when the blind is down to stop the base rail from moving around. The bottom rail end caps have been designed to float in and out of the bottom rail to accommodate instances where the cable is not straight, ensuring a smooth operation without putting pressure on the cable itself.
Our cable wire guide awnings give you flexibility when used for sun protection, as the product is not fully enclosed, allowing for airflow at the sides of the blind. Another advantage when it comes to cable guide awnings is that when used in a patio area, there is no need for a post or wall to fix the cable to, as it can be fixed to the ground or solid surface.
